Ross County's Craig Curran signs new 12-month contract extension

Ross County's Craig Curran celebrates

Ross County have agreed a one-year contract extension with striker Craig Curran.

The 27-year-old Englishman’s current deal[1] had been due to expire this summer.

Curran, who joined County[2] from Conference outfit Nuneaton Town in January 2015, has scored seven goals in 34 appearances this season.

The news comes ahead of Friday’s derby at home to Highland neighbours Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

County sit eighth in the Scottish Premiership, eight points clear of Caley Thistle at the bottom.

However, the Dingwall outfit are only three ahead of Dundee, who presently occupy the relegation play-off position.
