Napoli submit another raised offer for Inter captain

icardiNapoli are refusing to give up on Inter striker Mauro Icardi and have once again raised their offer for the Nerazzurri captain.

The Partenopei have submitted two offers for the Argentine recently but the Inter management are remaining adamant that he will stay, despite reports that he was unwanted somewhat by the Biscione faithful.

According to La Repubblica, Napoli are still trying to use this tension surrounding his place at the club as fuel to make Inter let Icardi go, and have offered one final bid of €50 million plus Manolo Gabbiadini.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is doing all he can to make sure last season’s performances are repeated, following the sale of talisman Gonzalo Higuain to rivals Juventus recently.

Icardi joined Inter in 2013, and the 23-year-old has since scored 52 goals in 105 games.
