Lee agrees Wednesday contract extension

Kieran Lee

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Kieran Lee has signed a new deal to stay with the Championship club until June 2019.

Lee, whose current contract was set to expire at the end of the forthcoming season, has played 142 games for the Owls since joining from Oldham[1] in 2012.

The 28-year-old started his career at Manchester United before signing for the Latics in 2008.

“Our aim is to get back into the Premier League and I believe we can do it,” he told the club website.[2]
