The 19-year-old scored five times in 10 appearances for Santos last season, and can not only play in wide areas as he is also capable of playing as a forward and as a number 10.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, contacts between Inter and Santos have intensified over the past few hours and their efforts to sign Gabigol have accelerated.
Gabigol’s agent Wagner Ribeiro has also admitted that there has been contact with Inter, but an offer hasn’t yet been made.
Inter are willing to block Juventus’ move for Gabigol by offering Santos €30 million for the Brazilian’s services, while Massimiliano Allegri and the rest of the Bianconeri management are offering only €25 million.
A product of the Santos youth academy, Gabigol has already represented the Brazilian national team four times, scoring twice.
