Forest set to sign defender Traore

Armand Traore

Nottingham Forest are close to signing former Queens Park Rangers and Arsenal defender Armand Traore, BBC Radio Nottingham understands.

The 26-year-old, who joined QPR from Arsenal in 2011, failed to make an appearance for the club last season and was released in June[1].

Traore played 93 games for the Rs and helped them to win the Championship play-off final against Derby in 2014.

Prior to joining QPR, Traore had spells on loan with Portsmouth and Juventus.
