Catalan giants Barcelona are monitoring AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca as an alternative option to Atletico Madrid’s Luciano Vietto.
The Colombia international has been linked with a plethora of European clubs on account of the Rossoneri’s failure to qualify for the Champions League.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Barca have shown an interest in the 29-year-old after he turned down the chance to join West Ham United for €30 million.
Barcelona are reportedly not willing to offer more than €22m as they wait on Vietto to decide on his future with the Argentine not sure if he wants to sit on the bench at the Nou Camp.
The reigning La Liga champions have also been linked with Mario Gomez as the German forward could be a cheaper option as he departs Fiorentina following his season on loan at Besiktas.
